Getting To Your New Place Of Work

Neque porro quisquam est, qui dolorem ipsum quia dolor sit amet, consectetur

The first thing that we will ask you to do now, is take some time to look into the various options available to you to get from where you are now, to where you need to be to take up the job offered.

Obviously, if you drive, this is by far the simplest way to get around, it also makes life a lot easier when you reach us, as you’ll be able to get to and from work without relying on public transport or securing a lift from a new colleague.    You may need to use a ferry – if so, check availability only at this stage.

If you don’t drive, please check the availability of flights, coaches and trains; BUT BEFORE you book anything, get back in touch with your contact at 360, discuss the options.  They need to be sure that you are going to arrive somewhere near the chosen clients’ location, and that you are able to find somewhere to live….  We do expect you to try and find yourself a suitable property, after all, we’re a company that provide jobs, not a housing or transportation provider!

In the event that you would like a member of our staff to help you, you will need to ask for an ‘assistance request form’  – we will send this to you, complete the form – telling us what help you need, and we will do our best to provide the assistance that you require.  We have lists of landlords that we know to provide accommodation to migrant workers, we can send this to you!  If you can’t speak English, you’ll need to ask our staff to call landlord(s) for you – our staff may be able to obtain details of available properties – prices – locations etc.. and if you are happy – they could even arrange for you to view the landlords’ property.  It’s really important that you understand that 360 do not provide accommodation – if we help you in any way, it is to introduce you to a third party who will be the landlord or landlord’s representative.  We do not make any money for doing this, we provide this help to make your life easier; not for any financial gain or benefit.

Please remember – we’re not psychic! We do not know what help you need unless you tell us.

If we’ve followed the stages outlined above, you should know; where you are going to work –  place(s) that you can chose to live in – and how you are going to get here!?  If all of that is done, your contact at 360 will tell you to proceed and confirm / book your travel arrangements!

Please make sure you bring enough money with you to pay for food, rent and to travel to and from work for the first two weeks, as we pay you one week in arrears.  So you first pay from us will reach you on the second Friday following your arrival to the workplace.  We recommend that you have at least £300.00 or the equivalent in the currency relevant to the country you plan to work in.

One last cautionary reminder!

Before you travel to take up a new role with us – it’s very important that you fully understand that EVERY job we offer you is dependent upon you showing us your skills when you reach us; this will take the form of a ‘test’ that allows you to show us and our client to see how good you are.

We base the test upon the skills you previously told us you have.  So please, do not lie about your abilities.  If you tell us that you are awesome at something, but then fail to perform this task when you are tested – we will not be able to offer you the job you wanted!

So, over to you now, enjoy your journey.  When you are en-route, we strongly advise you to confirm that you have set off.  Let you point of contact here know that you are on your way, that way we know you are going to arrive!
